Help save lives.
The Palm Beach Police & Fire Foundation is proud to announce a new Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Program in partnership with Safeguard Palm Beach and Palm Beach Fire Rescue. This collaborative effort aims to significantly increase the number of registered AEDs throughout the town, with the objective of expanding the count from 200 to 500 devices over the next two years.
Automated External Defibrillators, commonly referred to as AEDs, are vital tools for saving lives in the event of sudden cardiac arrest. This new initiative seeks to ensure the widespread availability of AEDs in businesses, homes and public areas within Palm Beach, making it a safer place to live and visit.

Delivery
Fire Rescue brings the AED and customized training to your door.
Palm Beach Fire Rescue will assume a pivotal role within this program, facilitating initial training sessions and providing continual refresher courses throughout the year.
These training sessions aim to familiarize residents with the devices, demonstrating their straightforward operation and ease of use. By equipping individuals with the knowledge and confidence to utilize AEDs adeptly, the program seeks to significantly enhance the likelihood of survival during critical situations.

FOR Commercial Properties and Condo Buildings/Associations: Safeguard Palm Beach and PB Fire Rescue will work directly with the building or association to determine best placement in public/high traffic areas for AEDs.
